The officers of the Chesterfield Bar support our judges making difficult decisions based on the law and facts presented in court, as trials involve complexity and nuance.

Brief History of Bar

The Chesterfield County Bar Association was established in 1956, originally called the Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Bar Association until 2002. Upon origination, the goal of the association was to work at separating the city of Colonial Heights and the county of Chesterfield from the judicial circuit. Presently, the focus was re-established to promote the legal profession in Chesterfield and improving the practice of law in the county’s legal community.
